To use archery you need a bow equipped and arrows in the ammunition slot of your paperdoll. Press R to ready your bow, then press and hold your left mouse button to draw. Once you have the target in your sights, release the mouse button to fire.

Archery takes a little practice to use, but once you get good at it, it can be very deadly, especially in PvP.

If you're wearing a lot of armor, or very heavy armor, you'll get a penalty to your damage output with the bow. This can be offset somewhat by raising your Armored Archery skill which goes up as you use archery while wearing armor.

Hitting someone in the back adds a significant amount of damage inflicted to the target.
